Rick's world -New Year's day

Happy New Year everyone, finally we have internet again and can do an update. Hope you all had a lovely day and night. Padstow on New Year's eve was so lovely, as you would have read we had dinner out (awesome), went back to our room and had a rest and then for the first time in many years stayed awake till midnight. We watched the fireworks and then headed home to bed.

Now - New Year's day

We have travelled many places and I was a bit doubtful about the fact that Padstow was owned a lot by Rick. We have never had a better stay anywhere in the world. The people at all of his places are some of the best people in the industry. They make you feel like family or friends. The service provided in each of his venues are amazing. When the find out you are staying with them it is even more so. We are currently sitting in the Lounge room of St Petroc's hotel and bistro with a glass of wine and checking emails and updating our blog.

This morning was a bit of a sleep in and then we strolled around stumbled across this lovely walk that follows the coast. I am adding some photos but I must say they don't do the place justice at all. This is one of the most beautiful pflaces I have ever seen. If they had more sun I could spent 3 months here, 3 months italy and the rest of the time in Australia. Cornwall is beautiful.
