We have arrived

Holy shit.

for those of you that know Florence, here is our view out of our appartment.







I mean - holy shit. When we open our lounge room and bedroom windows this is the view we get. The apartment was organised through the school we will be attending tomorrow.

Now it is freezing here. The trip from Rome was uneventful, we meet a nice bunch of people on the train and talked to them the hole way and the trip went so quickly. Here are some pictures from the train.












We arrived early and notified our apartment people and they were able to meet us eary. The weather here is they have had no snow in Florence itself but the outlying areas yes. The temp isnt too bad but the winds go straight through you. I think i need warmer clothes.

The school is just around the corner from our apartment and well you can tell from the photos we are right in the centre of the city. This apartment is f.. awsome. It is huge (I mean the kitchen is the size of most of the rooms we have been staying in for this trip), it has a lounge room. Photo below, the windows open to the side of the duomo.





Sorry if the photos are blurry but we took them without a flash. This kitchen is huge and we had our first meal here tonight and it was pasta with well more than one bottle of wine cause we are very happy and you should celebrate. We have explained this phenomenon before.

Now to the bedroom. Look at all that space (no not brett's arse well it is getting bigger), we dont know to handle all this space. We have packed everything away.



I am sitting in the lounge room at the moment wrapped in a blanket as it is cold. i dont know how to work the heater and is cold, I mean not as cold as outside but cold. I am watching my favourite tv shows in italian. It is a game show that the contestant has to guess the jobs of the other people. Great for learning italian.

So hopefully from now on there should be an additional post at the end of this in italian, if we get it right.
