Paris the city of love

After a very early start we were off to gay parie (paris) imagine a very heavy accent when you say gay parie (don't know how to spell it). Arrived at the Eurostar train station after 1 1/2 half hours from Salisbury. I had a few people tell us about the Champagne bar so off we headed. we got to the top and imagine our surprise when they just have this bar in the middle of the upstairs floor, we were a bit confused as it didn't fit the description. However soon found out this was their outside area and headed inside. Lovely way to start our french part of the holiday. In the style we are getting accustomed to we had a taster set of the stufff.

The pink one with the wine glass missing means I tried it didn't like it so it was just out of site. Number 1 and two were my favorites. Eurostar trip uneventful. Arrived in Paris with stories of hords of gypsies etc and found a few but not that many that it was a bother. However I did get asked advice on how to buy tickets from a young asian couple. So funny. We must of looked like we knew what we were doing. We got the right metro and got off at the right stop and found the place with no trouble. Place is small, nicely furnished and we can cook. Nice apartment. No english tv at all, guess those movies will come in handy now. What is funny in every place we have had a washing machine and they are a dryer as well and no one has had instructions on how to use the machines. So each time we have to work out how to use the machine and then how the dryer works. Instructions please people.

The bedroom is tiny. The girl that we are renting off was here to welcome us and told us where the eating street was. So after we unpacked we went for a walk. Man I am in food heaven. Julie maybe you should be joining us now. Now the problem is I speak no french, moderate italian so I am joining my english, italian and very very basic french and well it comes out all confusing. If I remember to say Bonjour when we go in somewhere, merci when I want to say thanks and non or wee. I should be right. Cheese, wine and meats for tea. yummy. We paid tourist price for the wine because they had a sale sign on it but when we went to buy it they said no that wasn't correct. oh well.

Bed rating: seems comfortable (small) Special happy birthday hello mummy derrick. Hope you have a good day. Love Monique, Brett, Marty, Kiwi and Hooter
